När det gäller Aulonocara från Chilumba så hittade jag följande stycke från artikel efter en "googling".
"There has been some confusion about the identity of the so-called "Usisya Aulonocara", which is in fact the yellow variant of A. stuartgranti, but sometimes referred to as A. steveni (a junior synonym of A. stuartgranti). Although on the face of it there is no reason why the "Usisya Aulonocara" should not be assigned to a different species- the male breeding colouration is quite different to that of the blue-coloured holotype of A. stuartgranti. There are data pointing clearly to the conspecificity of these two populations. When I visited many localities between these two populations, I found that there is no clearly defined border between the all-blue and the all-yellow populations. There is a gradual changes from one extreme ( all-blue) to the other (all-yellow), although males of any given population show a more or less constant coloration; the colour changes with the population, not within a population. From these observations I have come to the logical conclusion that both the Usisya Aulonocara and that from Chilumba are one and the same species. There really is no other way to explain the situation and we should refer to both the "Usisya Aulonocara" and the "Chilumba Aulonocara" as A. stuartgranti."
